A clean crisp example of the highly desired Type 11 Stanley plane. This small #3 smooth plane retains nearly all its japanning. Exposed bare metal has a pleasing tan patina. The blade is long but could use a sharpening. the blade bears the T logo but with the Canadian patent date 8-2-10. A great plane for the bench or the shelf.
