Early John Porcius Gage (click for more info)Plane in the coveted #1 size. Only the #1 size had the rear cast iron plate which hung out over the back end of the body. Overall very nice condition though a replacement handle would improve greatly the overall condition and appearance. All Gage transitional planes have interchangeable handles. Blade is full length and razor sharp.
